The annual Open Enrollment period for elections and/or changes to the various benefit programs offered by the State of Rhode Island is from June 2, 2008 through June 20, 2008.  Any elections and/or changes will become effective with the pay period beginning June 22, 2008.  Please note that this will be the only opportunity to make changes to your benefits without an otherwise “qualifying event.”  The only exception is Deferred Compensation Plans which may be modified at any time.

A Medical Flexible Spending Account to be administered through Cornerstone Administrative Services, LLC will now be available to state employees effective July 1, 2008. Information kits will be distributed to staff at their respective work locations during the open enrollment period.
